Plot Summary
The rap group NWA emerges from the mean streets of Compton in the mid-1980s and revolutionizes hip-hop culture with their music and tales about life in the hood.

Obsahy
Ulice kalifornského Comptonu bývaly jedním z nejnebezpečnějších míst v Americe. Právě tady, v místě, jehož život řídily drogové gangy a pravidelné policejní šťáry, se narodila pětice kluků, kteří odsud dokázali vypadnout. Ze své frustrace, nenávisti a naštvání se rozhodli vyzpívat. Stvořili žánr zvaný „gangsta rap" a skupinu N. W. A., která patří k nejkontroverznějším hudebním sestavám historie. Režisér F. Gary Gray o ní natočil nekompromisní životopisné drama plné skvělé muziky a ostrých textů.
